Dawnwalker Release Date: September 3, 2026

When did The Blood of Dawnwalker come out?

The Blood of Dawnwalker released worldwide on Thursday, September 3, 2026. Publisher Bandai Namco, Steam, PlayStation, and Xbox now show the same launch date.

This was the full-game launch, not a beta or an early-access window. Every edition became available on the same day.

If you are deciding whether the game itself fits you rather than when it unlocks, the Gameplay Explained guide breaks down the 30-day loop, day and night forms, quests, exploration, and combat.

Release date by platform

Does Steam have a different release date?

No. Steam now displays September 3, 2026, matching Bandai Namco, PlayStation, and Xbox. Some regional views showed September 2 before launch because storefront dates can be rendered by local time zone; that did not create a separate early-access day.

Is there early access?

No. Bandai Namco's edition guide stated that all editions would start on September 3, and the launch followed that schedule. The Eclipse Edition's extra digital items did not include earlier access to the game.

“Day One” is also an edition name, not an early-access promise. The Day One guide and Collector's guide show exactly what those physical packages add.

Can you download and play now?

Yes. The release window has passed, so a new digital purchase can be downloaded through the relevant PC, PlayStation, or Xbox storefront. Physical availability still depends on retailer stock and region.
