How an answer earns its place on the page.
The standard is simple: help a player understand what is confirmed, what is inferred, and what remains unknown—without hiding the source behind the conclusion.
Start with primary sources
Official publisher, developer, storefront, and platform pages are preferred for dates, features, editions, and technical specifications. Reputable reporting can add context when primary material is incomplete.
Separate fact from interpretation
Confirmed information is stated plainly and linked to its source. Conflicting listings, reasonable interpretations, rumors, and unknown details are labelled instead of being blended into a single confident answer.
Review information as it changes
Guide pages display a source-check date. Material changes to launch information, platform support, requirements, or game systems should trigger a new review and an updated date.
Use automation as assistance, not evidence
Automated tools may help collect candidate sources, compare information, organize notes, or format a draft. They are not treated as sources. Published factual claims must remain traceable to linked evidence, and unverifiable details are omitted or labelled unknown.
Correct the record
When a credible correction is received, the relevant source and page are reviewed. Confirmed errors are corrected; material updates should also change the visible source-check date.
