Is The Blood of Dawnwalker available on PS5?
Yes. The Blood of Dawnwalker released on PS5 on September 3, 2026. The official PlayStation page now lists the game as playable and links the Standard and Eclipse editions.
At the September 4 source check, PlayStation displayed a 4.67/5 player rating from 2,218 ratings. Treat that as a launch-day snapshot because the count and score will continue to move.
Official platform lists name PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. They do not list a PS4 version.

The official PlayStation listing confirms DualSense wireless controller vibration, offline play, and support for one player. It also lists 14 accessibility features across audio, controls, and gameplay.
Those accessibility options include volume controls, 3D audio, basic controller remapping, adjustable stick sensitivity and inversion, advanced difficulty adjustment, control reminders, pausing, and manual saving. PlayStation also states that rapid button presses, motion controls, touch controls, controller vibration, and adaptive trigger effects are not required to play.
Careful wording: PlayStation confirms controller vibration, but it does not describe a game-specific haptic or adaptive-trigger implementation. This guide therefore does not promise one.
Which PS5 edition should you choose?
The US PlayStation Store currently lists two digital choices: Standard Edition for $69.99 and Eclipse Edition for $79.99. Prices and availability can differ by country, so check the store connected to your PlayStation account before buying.

The Sangoran Wayfarer's Armor Set was offered as a pre-order early unlock at participating retailers. It can also be obtained later in the game, so it is not permanently exclusive. No edition included early access; every version launched on September 3.

On August 24, the official Dawnwalker account confirmed three launch modes for both PS5 and PS5 Pro. Performance Mode arrived through the day-one patch.

Can you download and play the PS5 version now?
Yes. The launch window has passed, and PlayStation says buyers can download and play the content on the PS5 console associated with their account. The public page does not expose a stable download-size figure, so check the store on your console before clearing storage.
